The chase UK mobile app is built using cross-platform technology - React Native following modularisation architecture. In the beginning, the project was designed with this pattern and during the process of scaling, we have experienced pros and cons of it, therefore we have slowly adapted the micro-frontend architecture.

This talk begins with giving a brief explanation of micro frontends terminology, then it extends into a detailed walk-through of micro frontends design process, including architecture, release process and automation, with the ultimate goal to improve productivity and release on demand, and giving the ownership back to teams on what they deliver and when to release.
