Product Managers are central to creating and operating businesses today. But unfortunately, most PMs are trained to think of their career as a zero-sum game. This talk will highlight three golden rules for PMs to become successful product leaders: attributes of great PMs, focus on people, and focus on process. Among other things, it will discuss how to rally cross functional teams using frameworks (like OKRs), tips to influence others without authority especially when working remotely, and using data and experimentation to launch the "most valuable products". The talk will contain real life anecdotes, and should be useful and relatable to Product Managers and Leaders at all levels.
